Annual recurring revenue, a closely watched measure of the company's subscription business, reached $2.125 billion, also up 30%. Samsara said it added a record 242 customers generating at least $100,000 in annual revenue and 20 customers generating more than $1 million.

The company also boosted its full-year outlook. Samsara now expects revenue of $2.043 billion to $2.047 billion, up from its previous forecast of $2.005 billion to $2.013 billion. Adjusted earnings are expected to be 76 cents to 78 cents a share, versus its prior range of 70 cents to 72 cents.
