Shein set to raise $1.7 billion in Hong Kong IPO, sources say - Reuters News

- Online fast-fashion retailer Shein is set to price its shares at the middle of the marketing price band to raise HK$13.6 billion ($1.73 billion) in its Hong Kong IPO, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter.

Shein, which is headquartered in Singapore and was founded in China, launched its long-awaited Hong Kong listing on Monday. It was selling 280 million shares in a price range of HK$47.60 to HK$49.50 each.

The offering is expected to be priced at HK$48.56 a share, said the sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity as the information is not yet publicly available.

Shein did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
