GENEVA, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Ecuadorian diplomat Ivonne Baki has joined the race to become the next secretary-general of the United Nations, documents showed on Tuesday.
Baki, who will compete against seven other candidates to replace Antonio Guterres next year, was nominated by the Pacific island nation of Tonga, the documents showed.
