WASHINGTON, April 16 (Reuters) - Bank of England interest rate-setter Alan Taylor said on Thursday the central bank should stay on hold regarding any changes to borrowing costs as it awaits more clarity about the pass-through of higher energy costs from the Iran war into the broader economy.
Taylor, who has been one of the BoE's policymakers most supportive of rate cuts in recent months, said he agreed with BoE Governor Andrew Bailey's recent comments that investors got ahead of themselves by pricing in rate hikes.
