MOSCOW, Aug 14 (Reuters) - Russia's liberal Yabloko party has appealed against a court ruling that bars it from contesting a parliamentary election next month, state news agency TASS reported on Friday.
The Supreme Court on Monday excluded Yabloko from fielding candidates in the election to the State Duma, the lower house of parliament, sidelining the only officially registered party opposed to Moscow's war in Ukraine.
